In the beginning of May Beijing and Shanghai will see performances by some of Europe’s hottest DJ and electronic live acts all hailing from the freezing northern capital, Helsinki.

On May 1st they’ll launch the one year countdown to Shanghai Expo in Shanghai’s Muse2 club. Then the mayhem will continue at Club Tango in Beijing for an extravagant gig on May 2nd.

On the menu there’ll be crazy mashup sets of Top Billin, a DJ-set by hyped new label New Judas and the master of keytar Eero Johannes with his own brand of “sugarhigh” groovy house played live.

Top Billin has become known as an well oiled party machine, rocking shows around the globe from Paris to Berlin and Moscow, with the likes of Justice, Sany Pitbull, Feadz and countless other club favorites. In 2008 they even made their first big tour supporting M.I.A. in Canada.

New Judas is hot new label based in both Berlin and Helsinki. Other currently much hyped artists on the label include girl trio Le Corps Mince de Francoise, Brazilian metal gods Sepultura’s drummer’s side project Mix Hell and one man act Huoratron, with his distorted 8-bit mayhem. The DJ set is by two guys behind the label Downtown and Poncho, who together form Pets On Prozac, one of the labels core artist.

Eero Johannes is a one-man synthetic funk orchestra playing his very own brand of electronica. His exploding live performances, always partially improvised, are sure to make both girls' and boys' hearts throb. He started in the core group of Skweee artists – a style of “electronic funk” hailing from Scandinavia and released his first album recently on Planet Mu - a label especially known for bringing us some of dubstep’s greatests.

All artists are known for their strong styles for graphics and visuals. New Judas’s graphics are designed by design collective Vänskap (www.vanskap.fi)
Eero Johannes’s who’s also an illustrator and designer, triggers his visuals by playing chords from his instruments. So expect a full on party night for all senses. In Shanghai the artists will launch the One Year Countdown to the Shanghai Expo – the biggest ever World Expo with more than 200 participants and some 70 million expected visitors.

Both club nights will start Finlands extensive culture programme to the Shanghai Expo that will showcase progressive music from most genres before and throughout the Expo. Finland is also taking part to the Expo with its’ own pavilion – Giant’s Kettle or Binghu – which is a futuristic piece of modern architecture and design. The pavillion will have its’ ground breaking -ceremony in April.

5 月 1 日，他们将在上海的Muse2 Club演出，启动上海世界博览会的一周年倒数。因此5月1日的演出叫做ONE YEAR COUNTDOWN.

5月2日他们将占据北京的糖果俱乐部，诱出你身体里的派对动物。芬兰艺术家跟糖果俱乐部其实是有情节的。
他们三年以来都在糖果表演过。因此北京的派对叫做 第三届SOUNDS LIKE SUOMI 芬兰未来之声。
作为一个持续的艺术交流的标志。 此次来到的DJ,包括有着疯狂混合风格的Top Billin；
有着明快、悦耳，以及某种程度上被打乱了的House Beat的Pets On Prozac，
以及有着独特“Sugarhigh”风格Groovy House乐曲的Eero Johannes。

Top Billin以他老牌派对机器的形象著称。
他曾经与包括Justice，Sany Pitbull，Feadz在内的许多俱乐部明星在世界各地演出
，从巴黎到柏林到莫斯科。在2008年他们甚至与M.I.A.一同在加拿大进行了巡回演出。

Pets On Prozac是新兴优秀厂牌New Judas的灵魂团队。

在上海，艺术家们将启动上海世界博览会的一周年倒数——至今最大的世界博览会，
拥有200家参加者与预计七千万观众。以两场演出为标志，
将在上海世界博览 会进行的浩大的芬兰文化项目将陆续开始。
芬兰同时也将参加上海世界博览会的展出，
展出将包括Giant's Kettle（或称“冰壶”）——一个未来风格的现代建筑设计作品。
“冰壶”也将在四月份进行动工仪式。
